GET TO KNOW PATS PILATES TEAM
CLARE
Hi, my name is Clare and I was first introduced to Pilates as a student at The London College of Dance where I achieved a BA (hons) in Dance. It was here that I found my love for anatomy and the functionality of the human body. Pilates soon became my favourite class over ballet and contemporary dance.
It was at Champneys Health Spa where I worked for seven years that I was first able to train as a Pilates Instructor and lead my team of professional instructors into this amazing method of exercise.
I joined PATS PILATES team in 2003 and then increased my Pilates certification to include the classical matwork and large equipment by completing the years diploma here at the Pilates Advanced Training School. Thereafter, Pat kindly asked me to become her full time studio co-ordinator where I enjoyed living and breathing Pilates every day of the week.
I have returned to the studio as a freelance instructor after having my two beautiful children. You may also see me as the Assessor for the training school if you volunteer at the next assessments.
Pilates is my tool to help improve the mind and body to work efficiently and effectively in everyday life. I have been privileged to work with so many different people over 19 years. There unique bodies and minds is what keeps my hunger for gaining more knowledge and to be ever learning.
Hopefully, I will get the chance to teach you soon so I can keep being amazed by what the mind and body can teach us all.
