When I took retirement nearly a decade ago I expanded my interests to fit time available. Two of these interests have provided my life with structure, entertainment and social interaction, not to mention increased flexibility and a little extra income. I learned to paint in watercolours, and exhibit locally and sometimes sell a painting, and I came to PATS Pilates, where parts of me learned to bend that hadn't moved for years, helping with a new, if reluctant, hobby - gardening, and giving me the impetus to keep improving and strengthening. The classes, the instructors, the pleasure of achievement and the company of people with similar aims all add to the experience, and the help and support Pat and Emma have given during periods of incapacity has been invaluable.
