"Pull up, pull in & breathe"

I have been doing Pilates for just over ten years and like most people that take it up I wish I started ten years earlier. It has been of great benefit to me in lots of aspects of my life.

Like many people I work in an office so it is great to work out all the tension and stiffness caused by being too sedentary. It has kept me mobile through two pregnancies and helped immeasurably with two births and the recovery afterwards. It’s even helped with all the sleepless nights as I swear a good stretch is worth 8 hours sleep!

It’s not all work and no play though and the exercises and core strength I have gained through Pilates really helps with my favourite pass time contemporary dance. But Pilates is not just a mean to an end, doing the Pilates classes are fun and rewarding and the great thing is it something I can continue to enjoy and benefit from my whole life.
