"Pull up, pull in & breathe"

At the beginning of this year, I was struggling with being able to move freely without some kind of nagging pain in my lower back/buttock area!! Even getting out of bed in the morning was becoming an uncomfortable process. For someone who has regularly kept fit over the years by running on the redways this was not welcome as I was unable to enjoy a pleasant evening run round my local park. A friend suggested Pilates might help me. After the initial 4 week beginners course with Emma I joined Leigh’s Tuesday evening class. At first I found that I was unable to do all of the movements but with Leigh’s help not only can I do the Pilates movements but I am now back to running (only round the block at the moment) but it feels good to be able to move freely again. Pilates has now become part of my life and I look forward every week to the great Pilates stretches – it has transformed my life.
