I decided to give Pilates a try after a few years of yoga classes, and signed up for a beginners course at PATS PILATES. Over three years later, I'm still attending my weekly class and loving it! It's so motivating when you notice little improvements in what you can achieve, and develop an awareness and acceptance of your own ability. Regular Pilates helps me feel good today, in addition to 'future-proofing' against the creaks and groans that come with getting older! I really enjoy the class, we work hard but still have a giggle. Clare is an amazing teacher, she always explains why an exercise is beneficial and shares lots of fascinating anatomical facts, which really helps to keep engaged - both mentally and physically!!
