Yoga & Pilates Day Retreat at Tofte Manor with Pat & Emma

Sunday 13 May 10am – 4.30pm

Treat yourself to a relaxing and reviving day at Tofte Manor in Bedfordshire.

During our time, together we will offer you some calmness and space to breathe and move more freely and enjoy some time away from your usual activities and responsibilities. We will help you to connect with yourself and also with nature, to find a little inner harmony as you gently recharge your batteries.

We look forward to leading the following sessions:

Pilates Alignment session - while ideal posture will vary somewhat from person to person, the basic principles of ideal posture remain the same. This Pilates session will a help you access your core strength and improve the way you stand and use your body.

Mindful Yoga Practice - the mindful Yoga practice will include sequencing of postures, dynamic as well as static posture work and careful attention to the breath.

Pranayama Meditation - conscious awareness of the breath to help promote a healthy body and calm mind.

Stretch & Release Yoga practice - all poses will be either lying and seated. The poses will be held for longer periods, releasing into them with mindful awareness of the sensations and thoughts which arise.

In between practice there will be plenty of time to enjoy the comforts of the house or explore the lovely grounds and natural beauty of Tofte Manor.

By the end of the day we hope that your back is stretched, a little more flexible and feels stable and stronger.

The day retreat fee is £125 (includes lunch).
